Organization Registration Information

Create Your Organization

Do you have an passion or interest that other organizations on this campus aren't making? Why not create your own organization?

There is a process by which a group of students must complete before your organization is officially recognized by the University, but we've made it as simple as possible for you to get up and running.

In order to register as a student organization, students must:

  • Have at least ten (5) members
  • Secure an on-campus faculty/staff member as an advisor
  • Create a name for your organization and draft a constitution
  • If you are a new student organization, you have to schedule a meeting with Student Life. In order to do this, call Kanita House at (859) 572-5835 or e-mail her at housek1@nku.edu;
  • Pay a $25 registration fee; and
  • Attend a Student Organization Orientation. All meetings will take place in SU 302.
