Northern Kentucky Leadership Institute
Whether it is a leadership seminar or an organization composed of students learning to lead, the Northern Kentucky Leadership Institute (NKLI) is dedicated to developing the leaders of tomorrow.
NKLI is the parent of several programs/organizations at Northern Kentucky University. The Institute offers year-round learning through LEAD NKU, a ten-week Leadership Seminar, or one of the three affiliated student organizations.
The Norse Leadership Society (NLS) is the 2005 NKU Award of Distinction-winning organization that is composed of 30 top leaders at NKU, and Merit Award winner every year since the inception of the Student Organization Celebration. Leadership Mentors is the public relations group for NKLI specializing in workshops and seminars to develop leadership and organizational skills. The Freshman Service Leadership Committee (FSLC) is a sub-committee of NLS and promotes Leadership through community service-related programming for freshman students.
NKLI also hosts an annual conference in cooperation with major corporations to give students the opportunity to learn, first-hand, the inner workings of the corporate workplace and how to lead in the professional world.
